Songwriter and broadcaster TOM ROBINSON was
a founding member of Rock Against Racism in 1976 and has enjoyed chart success
with songs like "2-4-6-8 MOTORWAY" "WAR BABY" "POWER
IN THE DARKNESS" and "GLAD TO BE GAY". His 20th studio album "HAVING
IT BOTH WAYS" was released in 1996. Tom began broadcasting in 1986 with
a series of programmess for BBC WORLD SERVICE and RADIO ONE. He presented Radio
4's pioneering men's series "THE LOCKER ROOM". His documentary "Hide
Your Love Away" won a SONY RADIO AWARD in 1997 for GLR and he has continued
writing and presenting for Radios 2, 4 and 5 ever since. Tom now presents his
own show on specialist digital station BBC
